The hotel shines with a value-for-money stay, offering comfortable rooms separate from the bedroom which are very nice, though somewhat dated. The service was a mixed bag with accommodating and friendly staff but a perception of lack of daily vacuuming. The location is ideal for proximity to UCSB and downtown Santa Barbara but lacks a vibrant neighborhood feel. The dining experience was good overall, with some hiccups in communication and closure. The facilities are decent, catering to various needs.

After a long day driving and attending a funeral, I found the rooms at Pacifica Suites to be a welcome retreat. The bathtub was a nice touch that you don't always get at other hotels like Best Western Plus South Coast Inn where we usually stay. The service was just what our young family needed with friendly staff who were accommodating to our requests. The location felt like a little oasis, providing a peaceful and pretty setting not far from UCSB and just a short drive to Santa Barbara. The dining experience, especially the free breakfast, was good, although there were some restrictions to be aware of. The facilities at the hotel were well-equipped, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

I have just returned from a stay at this hotel and overall it was a good experience. The rooms were not entirely what I expected for a four-sleep suite; they were spacious and well-equipped, but facing away from the view. The service, however, was excellent - the staff was friendly and attentive, making check-in and check-out a breeze. What a gem of a hotel! The private sitting areas in the rooms are perfect for catching up with family and friends, avoiding the need to crowd the sleeping area. The location in Goleta, CA, just a stone's throw from Santa Barbara, is a big plus, although there was a slight moldy smell from the bathroom. The service team, apart from one misstep by the manager regarding the mold issue, was lovely and helpful, demonstrating top-notch customer service. The historical beauty of the location, with its rooted history in a family-owned nursery, is simply gorgeous and conveniently close to both the freeway and Goleta Beach. Despite this, Pacifica made me wish I could have stayed longer, being slightly off the beaten path but still close to the desired spots in Santa Barbara.
